To ensure a fair and honest transaction for both parties, we require all sellers to agree to the following terms when selling a vehicle to us:
- Vehicle Condition Disclosure:
Sellers must provide complete and accurate information about the vehicle being sold, including but not limited to:
- Title status (e.g., clean, salvage, rebuilt)
- Known mechanical or safety issues
- Accident history
- Odometer accuracy
- Salvage or Rebuilt Titles:
If a vehicle is sold to us with a salvage, rebuilt, or branded title, this must be disclosed in writing before the sale is finalized. Failure to disclose title status will result in the seller being required to buy the vehicle back at the original sale price.
- Undisclosed Safety Defects or Major Issues:
Vehicles with serious safety defects, undisclosed flood damage, tampered odometers, or known major mechanical problems must be disclosed at the time of sale. If such issues are discovered after the transaction and were not disclosed, the seller agrees to repurchase the vehicle or refund the full purchase amount.
- "Lemon" Vehicles:
If the vehicle qualifies as a lemon under applicable state law and this was not disclosed, the seller will be required to reimburse or repurchase the vehicle in full.
- Ongoing Investigation or Liens:
Vehicles involved in open legal investigations, active recalls, or hidden liens must not be sold without disclosure. Any such case discovered after purchase may result in the vehicle being returned to the seller.
Honesty = A Smooth Transaction
Our goal is to make the vehicle-selling process fast, fair, and professional. We ask all sellers to be honest and transparent so we can keep it that way.
